The facts don’t lie... members are more engaged in their local clubs when they attend regional and federation meetings.  So, don’t hesitate … mark your calendars and attend your District Fall Meeting!  They are open to ALL members and are held essentially in your club’s backyard.  I hope to see you there!

Are you taking care of yourself?

As a member of Soroptimist, I know you are all about giving.  Giving of your time, your money, your expertise, and your devotion to our mission.  But are you taking care of yourself along the way?  As described in the Liveyourdream.org blog, “people who pour themselves into advocating for the less fortunate forget to prioritize their own needs.”

Don’t fall prey the “burnout syndrome” that plagues both the activism and social service sectors. To paraphrase – “In order for Soroptimist to create social change, we need supporters who are resilient and able to sustain themselves over the long haul”
