Spring is here and there is energy in the air!

There is so much going on in our region, I wonder when we sleep!
  • Clubs are conducting their Live Your Dream Awards ceremonies
  • Dream it, Be it conferences are well underway
  • New members are joining our clubs
  • Successful fund raisers are being held
  • And, our communities are embracing our efforts by recognizing and celebrating with us
Recently, I had the opportunity to meet one of the GWR finalists for the LYDA - who we will be celebrating in June at Spring Conference.  Her story, and the stories of all our applicants for that matter, remind me of why I am a Soroptimist. The awards given to these women are life changing and sets them on a path to live an empowered life.  I am grateful to be a small part of this program.  Prepare to be amazed when you meet the 10 finalists at Spring Conference!

As you look forward and start planning your club activities for next year, be sure to explore the resources available on our GWR website and from the SIA website.  Highlighted below are quick links to the web pages that contain some useful tools, templates and ideas.  The SIA website also has a wealth of tools for clubs in all areas, and many can be accessed from the April Soroptimist Summary

Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing you in June at Spring Conference!
