Reminders for May 2020

Dear Members of the Golden West Region,
While we haven't been meeting for the last 60 days, we have been busy! Below are a few reminders of some deadlines in May that I want to be sure you don't miss:
Dream it, Be it survey - even if you had to cancel your DIBI event this year, please be sure to complete the survey. SIA has added a section for you to report the impact your club WOULD HAVE had on your community. Deadline to report is June 1st. DIBI Survey
LYDA portal - if you haven't already archived your club's LYDA applications, please do so immediately. The portal closes and resets for the next club year on June 1st. LYDA Club Portal
Celebration of Life form - Secretary Liz received only 1 Celebration of Life form this year. We can't honor our members at Spring Conference who passed this year, but we still want to put together a tribute to share with all region members. If you have a member that passed away, please complete the form and submit to Secretary Liz by May 15th.Celebration of Life 2020
Disaster Relief Fund - SIA has created a Disaster Relief fund for members and clubs that are experiencing financial distress from the Covid-19 pandemic. If you, or your club, needs assistance, please read the information on the SIA website. Complete and submit your application to your club Treasurer no later than May 28th! SIA Disaster Relief
Please stay tuned for more information about our May ZOOM meetings held on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. We are also actively scheduling ZOOM celebrations of our region LYDA finalists to be held at the end of the month. I will get that schedule out to you all when everyone is confirmed.
