Hot Topics

It was such a pleasure to travel to each district in October for the Fall District Meetings.  I particularly enjoyed interacting and sharing ideas with all of the attendees.  District Directors Deb, Becky, Vanessa and Paula did an outstanding job planning the meetings.  SI Riverside, SI Palm Desert + SI Palm Springs, SI Kingman, and SI Desert Tucson exceeded all expectations welcoming members and highlighting their respective cities (among ALL of the other activities coordinated).  Our Fall Meetings highlighted:

  • SIA's message of "Changing for the Future"
  • Providing a positive club experience
  • SIA Branding and the Dreams Programs
  • The impact of our Dreams Programs
  • How contributions support the Dreams Program
  • GWR strategic pillar goals for 2018-2020

Our next opportunity to be all together will be at the 2019 Spring Conference, to be held June 6-8, 2019 at Pala Resort and Spa in Pala, CA.
Click here SC Video  to share the SC video with your club members.  I look forward to seeing you all there!  In the meantime, keep up the great work in your communities!

Take One Step

Take One Step

Have you heard about the SIA monthly invitation to clubs to Take One Step to support our Big Goal? Since 2012, clubs, regions and SIAHQ have worked together to increase our collective impact. We have achieved great success by empowering more women and girls through our brand-unifying Dream Programs. Clubs have begun changing the way they work to devote more resources to the things SIA needs to thrive:

  • Empowering more women and girls through our Dream Programs
  • Creating a warm and welcoming club experience
  • Increasing financial support for our Dream Programs, and
  • Growing public recognition for our impact.

This year, we are asking clubs to Take One Step each month to support our Big Goal. Please encourage clubs in your region to take one step to support our collective impact today!
